What Is Therapy?

Therapy is a unique opportunity to explore your truest self. It is a space with no right or wrong. I am available for you to discover and be with the various parts of yourself. Together, we will explore these pieces and the experiences that cause pain and discomfort; through this, there will be space for healing, understanding, and acceptance.

My goal as a therapist is to accompany you on your journey: To guide you in understanding your authentic self as you foster self-love and acceptance for not only parts of you that feel strong and culturally accepted, but also of pieces where shame, rejection, and fear live. I will work collaboratively with you to move toward understanding in order to nurture the life you are seeking. Through my internship experience and as a licensed therapist, I utilize the various psychological models I learned through my graduate education. I draw on these diverse theoretical orientations and am flexible in finding the modes of therapy that will best serve you.

I work with individuals, both adolescents and adults, around life transitions, anxiety, depression, self-identity, relationships, and eating disorders.

I am honored to begin this journey with you.

"What makes you vulnerable makes you beautiful."
